Ok so today was my birthday, and in honor of this special day…I am going to make it a cheat day. Got to have a little birthday treat. My daughter and son took me out for a delicious dinner and dessert at the Cheesecake Factory. OMG I love cheesecake! Just spending time with my kids is the best gift ever, and add some cheesecake to it and bam…perfect!

Who comes up with these creations…got to say it was lip smacking delicious!
I guess on that note I should have painted a cheesecake, ha…nope instead I got sidetracked and went with a cupcake.
So in honor of my birthday I made a cupcake with the Frugal Crafter. It truly helps when you have guidance while you paint. I tried to stray from the same colors but it was hard because hers was so vibrant. I did a quick sketch based on her cupcake and the turned it off and attempted it on my own. Of course the Frugal Crafter did an amazing job on her cupcake….mine looks lopsided, just like how it would look if I baked it, never perfect. Hahaha. In addition I changed it to a chocolate cupcake because that is my favorite!

Thank you Frugal Crafter for your tutorial. When I watch your tutorials it is like sitting in a room with you painting.
