Daily Painting Day 20

“State of Mind”

Day 20 is here!  Wow I can’t believe I have painted 20 days in a row.  Got to say I am impressed and very proud with myself.  I’d be pattin me self on za back!  haha

Don’t they say that it takes 3 weeks for something to become a routine.  Ha this I would like to see.  I am just shy a day for it to become a routine.  oh yeah!

Deciding on what to paint has been the biggest challenge.  But for the most part I am happy with the way it is going.  I am learning so much about myself.  And although I do find myself painting late in the evening I am getting it done.  So, last night I was painting and falling asleep.  I dozed for a quick second and my brush went across the painting.  whoops, oh well, it happens!  Of course I fixed it but then it happened again.   That is determination at its finest….I got it done…

“State of Mind” by Doreen J. Bowers

5″ x 7″ in. Watercolor painting on cold press watercolor paper.

Chocolate chip cookies was my “State of Mind” tonight!  haha…I almost made some but I didn’t.  Instead I painted some chocolate chip cookies, less calories.

Day 20 checking it off!

Have a great day.

I know right, if only they were real. Lets just say if I had them as a prop you would be seeing only crumbs on the paper instead of cookies….hahaha…..Day 21 done!!! woohoo

Love to hear from you...please comment!
